In response to the impact of U.S. reciprocal tariffs on local industries, Taiwan Customs has introduced streamlined clearance measures,
including "Waiver of Packing Lists for Monthly Declaration in Bonded Areas" and "Expanded Implementation of Remote Audits by Customs,"
aimed at reducing burdens and improving clearance efficiency.

According to Kaohsiung Customs, effective immediately, businesses in bonded areas are exempt from submitting packing lists during monthly declarations.
This measure allows suppliers shipping to bonded and taxable zones to consolidate all shipments into a single declaration by the 15th of the following month,
thus reducing administrative costs.

Another simplification is the "Expanded Implementation of Remote Audits by Customs." Of the approximately 1,224 bonded enterprises in Taiwan,
those not classified as high-risk are eligible. By using the newly added "Online Audit Data Transmission" feature on the bonded intelligent services platform,
on-site inspections can be minimized, reducing regulatory interference.

These changes help businesses reduce compliance costs and increase operational flexibility.
Companies with questions regarding the new measures are encouraged to contact their respective supervising customs offices for assistance.
